1. What Are Cookies?

A "cookie" is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit it. Cookies enable the website to remember information about you and your visit — for example, that you are signed in, what language you have selected, or that you have already dismissed a notification. The term "cookies" in this Policy also covers similar local-storage technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB) that perform comparable functions in modern browsers.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary

These cookies are essential for the Platform to function. Without them, services such as signing in, maintaining your session, and remembering your language preference cannot be provided. Strictly necessary cookies do NOT require your consent under GDPR or the ePrivacy Directive.

• tradeiz.sid — session cookie issued by our session store; used to keep you signed in across page loads. Expiry: end of session or up to 30 days for "remember me".
• tradeiz_lang — your selected interface language (stored in localStorage). Expiry: persistent until cleared.
• tradeiz.cookie_consent — your cookie-consent choice and timestamp. Expiry: 365 days.
• tradeiz_csrf — anti-CSRF token issued on form interactions. Expiry: session.
• tradeiz_theme — your dark / light theme preference. Expiry: persistent until cleared.

2.2 Functional

These cookies remember your preferences (chart layout, indicator settings, watchlist, interval favourites, AI conversation history visibility, etc.) so the Platform behaves consistently across visits. Functional cookies require your consent under GDPR.

• tradeiz_chart_state_* — per-symbol, per-exchange chart view state (zoom, indicators, overlays).
• tradeiz_chart_layout — multi-slot layout configuration.
• tradeiz_intervals_favorites — your favourited K-line intervals.
• tradeiz_ai_first_use_seen_at — timestamp recording the most recent date on which you acknowledged the AI investment-advice disclosure modal. Re-prompted every 30 days.

2.3 Analytics

These cookies allow us to count visits, identify popular features, measure performance, and diagnose errors so we can improve the Platform. Analytics cookies require your consent under GDPR. We use only first-party, privacy-preserving analytics; we do not embed third-party trackers for behavioural advertising.

• tradeiz_analytics_session — pseudonymous session identifier used to deduplicate hits. Expiry: 24 hours.
• tradeiz_perf_* — page-load and rendering performance timing. Expiry: session.

2.4 Marketing

We do NOT currently set marketing cookies and do NOT participate in cross-site behavioural-advertising networks. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy and re-prompt for consent before any marketing cookies are set.

3. Your Choices

When you first visit the Platform, you will see a cookie-consent banner allowing you to either accept all cookies or reject all non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by:

• Clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page;
• Clearing the tradeiz.cookie_consent cookie in your browser settings, which will cause the banner to reappear on your next visit;
• Disabling cookies entirely in your browser settings (note: this will break sign-in and many Platform features).

4. Browser-Level Controls

Most modern browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking all cookies, blocking third-party cookies, deleting existing cookies, and clearing local storage. Refer to your browser's documentation for instructions:

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") signal. Because there is no industry consensus on how to honour DNT signals, the Platform does not currently change its behaviour based on DNT. We respect the choice you make in the cookie-consent banner and the in-product cookie-preferences panel.

6. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make material changes (including the introduction of any new category of cookies), we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where required, re-prompt for consent.
